This weeks installment of the “Links” returns us to the “normal” format where we have collected only a small sampling of what we have been reading on the Internet this week. I hope you enjoy them and can find something useful from the list. Also, as always, get me your links for next week’s edition and you will get some linkage in the process.
A new blog at least for me is Sandra Martini’s Success Strategies and she had 7 Tips to Working Successfully From Your Home Office and this one hits right at home too, Results of Having an Automatic Business You Can Run From Anywhere I have subscribed to this blog and plan to follow her post as they come into my RSS reader.
Productivity 501 which is published by Mark W. Shead is packed full of all kinds of information. Of course Setting up a Home Office was a post that caught my eye right away. This is another blog you really should follow.
Walking the line when you work from home is from A List apart and another new blog for me. It never stops amazing me how often you come across a blog which has been around for a while that I have never seen. It makes me feel like I am only scratching the surface of the information available out there for use to read and soak up.
What to do when you feel invisible is from Laura Spencer who has her own blog at Writing Thoughts. Laura asks in her post, “have you ever felt invisible? Or, perhaps I should ask instead, have you ever felt inaudible — as though your words and ideas are being totally ignored… as though no one hears you.”
Martin Neumann completely surprised me by including me in his list of the 5 most influential home business bloggers. Especially when you look at the rest of the list. Also included in Martin’s list are:
Again, I am honored and humbled to be included. Each of the others in the list are all individuals I follow and respect.
Surviving summer holidays as a work at home mom is from SparkPlug CEO and gives advice even dads should pay attention too.
One of the blogs I never miss is Shedworking Alex not only provides some great information, he talks about something I plan to have someday of my own. A Shed out back I can call my office. This week he touches on the Green garden offices.
If you don’t already know, Chief Home Officer is on a summer trip with his family and an RV. I guess you could call it a working vacation as Jeff is actually running his office and working from the RV. This week he talks about on the road on the radio in the home office in an RV.
And Home Office Highway is Jeff Zbar’s blog about his summer trip. Home Office Highway: So Far… gives us a chance to see what has been going on with Jeff and his family as they travel and Jeff works. Don’t miss Jeff’s account of his summer trip.
And to go right along with that is the lazy geek’s traveling office from Quality Nonsense.
FInally for todays links is Essential Tools from Advantage Virtual Assistant Blog where you will get a list of some of the tools you should have in your “virtual toolbox.”
That is it for this week. Get me your suggestions for links for next week’s edition. And if anyone would like to host the Home Office TIps and Hints…Links on their own blog, let me know. It might be fun to spread this around and turn it into our own little “carnival”. We won’t call it that, but you get the idea.
