Home Office Warrior — Refreshed

images.jpeg It has taken some extra time, but we are finally introducing the new design for Home Office Warrior. You will notice some new features of the blog too. Since our tagline and mission is to be an “Internet Magazine for the Home Office Entrepreneur,” we wanted to make it navigate like one. You will notice on the right side one new feature and that is the Departments. These are what we call department blogs in the Home Office Warrior magazine network. Each of the departments has its own blog. We have contributor editors for some and we are searching for contributor editors for the others.

We have also provided an advertise tab at the top. You will notice on the advertise page rates for the different ad positions we have available. And if you might be confused as I was, we have provided a Java Script picture that you can pop up to show you where the different ads are located.

In addition, you will notice a tweaked Home Office Warrior logo. We kept the main theme, but changed the color and texture. Be watching for some new items with the logo to be introduced soon. In the very near future, you will see some more new features being introduced on Home Office Warrior. And, I am working on a new E-zine which I think will be “really cool”.

I am excited about the new design and the new features we have and will be adding soon. Be watching for the new “stuff” to be coming soon.

Grant, Please let me be the first to give a shout out to your new design. Many websites seek to serve their masters’ (meaning their owners’) whims, fancies or desires to scream, ‘Look at my site!’ Few strive to serve the real master: the reader. As a home officer yourself, you know how we on the home office frontier have a ton of options for information - and most of it is quite lousy. It’s nonsense laid out poorly. You’ve seemed to strike that balance in delivering good info, cleanly designed and ready for a reader - who, in turn, is ready to learn. As the NYTimes writes on the cover every day, “Just the news that’s fit to print.” You’ve nailed it. Well done…

Wow! Grant, I really think that you are on to something here. I applaud you for starting from scratch and coming up with something unique. The design is very clean. The ads seem to be well-integrated without being intrusive. I am looking forward to seeing how this develops.
