Just in case you all are wondering why I have not been able to resume postings. We were hit with an Ice Storm this week and things are mess. Internet is spotty. We currently have power and are just about the only ones in our area of town who does. My landline is down. And cell service is in and out.
Cable TV is finished. And the provider just says we are working on it. Not that I really care about TV. But, what about Internet service? We currently use DSL, so as long as it works off and on or I can connect with the neighbor’s to at least check emails, I will survive. And yes, they told me to use it if I needed to this week.
I will do my best to have some stuff up either later today or tomorrow. My RSS feeder is getting way too full and my Google alerts are stuffed too. We most likely will have an extended version of the Blog Carnival this weekend instead of doing one now for last week. If you all have post you want me to consider for the Carnival, drop me an email at grantgriffiths@mac.com I need all the help I can get this week.
December has been a trying month so far. I sure hope it ends better than it started.

Grant,
Puerto Rico is frequently hit by hurricanes. For this reason I have a backup Internet connection, and it works WONDERS whenever the DSL or Cable goes out.
You should consider a EVDO connection, I have mine with Sprint. $60 a month of peace of mind, and it downloads at 2MB. Maybe it’s available in Kansas.
I hope that the ice storm thaws out soon. Jeez, it’s cold outside, the mercury just hit 78F. A great warm “Good Luck” from Puerto Rico.
